Joe Matta started Matta Custom Contracting in 1975 specializing in residential and commercial building restoration with many prestigious clients such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art. In 1983, Joe partnered with Art Wellman to open St. Charles of the Hudson Valley in Newburgh, NY. A few years later, Joe opened up his own store in Goshen, NY which would eventually become known as Masterwork Kitchens. As time went by, Joe and his team made many changes for the benefit of their clients. These changes brought expansion, new company names and the evolution from a kitchen store to a full service design and project management firm now known as Masterwork Home. Simply put, we are not just kitchens anymore we can assist you with any aspect of your home renovation inside or out. Whether it's an addition onto your home, new construction, kitchen or bath renovation or updating the exterior of your home, we have the knowledge and experience to guide you through your project every step of the way.
Today, Masterwork Home is a family run business made up of a motivated and dedicated group of experienced professionals. We have completed many projects in Orange, Rockland, and Westchester Counties, New York City and Northern New Jersey. We have collaborated with our clients for their second homes in Vermont, Florida, and the Caribbean.
