Joseph Matta President
Joe Matta founded Matta Custom Contracting in 1975, working in the field, as a hands-on carpenter providing residential home improvements and restoration for many diverse projects including installations at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Shortly after, in 1980 Joe formed a partnership focused on commercial projects and providing cost and failure analysis for several national insurance companies. Soon Joe’s creative skills and needs resulted in the formation of a kitchen design firm, that became Masterwork Kitchens. Eventually Joe’s vision and integrity transformed the firm into a full service design and project management firm now known as Masterwork Home.
Joe has put in as much time and effort into building the community as he put in to building his company. He has taken leadership roles for many community organizations, and has quietly received numerous awards for his community involvement. Joe and his wife Theo live in Goshen and have two grown children and one grandson.
